Abstract

This study seeks to find out whether profitabilityis affecting the capital structure of companies. Population of this study are the companies listed in Indonesian stock exchange. The sample of the study are 50 companies that its stock are actively traded in Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2011. The simple regression method is employed in this study. The independent variable are ROA and ROE, while the dependent variable are DR and DER. The finding indicates that ROA has significant influence toward DR and DER, whereas ROE has significant influence toware DR.
